Orwa Nyrabia
Orwa Nyrabia started his career as actor and journalist. In 2004 he produced his first independent documentary and in 2008 he founded Syria’s first documentary festival. Nyrabia is the artistic director of IDFA, and amongst other things a member of the Deutsche Filmakademie and the Academy for Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences.
